Single-Handedly: Contemporary Architects Draw by Hand,
Publication

The new book Single-Handedly: Contemporary Architects Draw by Hand celebrates the persistent and vital practice of hand drawing in an age saturated with digital imagery. This book, by author Nalina Moses, features hand-rendered plans and perspectives by HBRA director of design Aric Lasher, along with drawings from forty-two other contemporary architects from around the world who continue to work by hand. A book-launch event was included as part of The Cliff-Dwellers Architectural Lecture Series, jointly sponsored by The Cliff-Dwellers, Friends of Downtown, AIA Chicago, and Blick Art Materials.
