The new headquarters for Breeden, Inc. sits on a prominent corner site on Washington Street, the major commercial street of downtown Columbus. The building is composed of two brick wings flanking a central glazed entry rotunda. The entry piece incorporates columns with cast-aluminum capitals and bases and a bronze logo insert in the terrazzo lobby floor. The mottled brick exterior walls are articulated by shaped stone sill and capital pieces as well as by an aluminum curtain wall system with marble spandrel panels. The dominant impression is one of a modest, functional building that sits gracefully on its important civic site.
