The Lipinksi Federal Building is an early 20th century commercial building with street-level retail and eleven floors of offices, now renovated to accommodate new building systems, security features, finishes, entries and lobbies. A contributor the GSA's historic fund portfolio, the building's original character had to be retained and incorporated into both new and reconfigured elements. In fulfilling this requirement, lobby and faςade renovations provide a unified appearance and a distinct identity for the Federal tenants who occupy the building.
