William Kinane
William serves as Vice President and Principal in Charge of Design. He joined HBRA in 2008, was made Associate in 2011, and was elevated to Principal in 2015. Bill has extensive experience, both at HBRA and while working for prior firms, with a range of institutional project types including libraries, higher education classroom and office buildings, and buildings serving primary and secondary education.
His recent projects at HBRA include the Alderman Library Renewal at the University of Virginia, Jenkins and Nanovic Halls at the University of Notre Dame and the Deering Library at Northwestern University. Together, these projects address a range of program needs, and their combined scope includes renovation, restoration, and new construction.
Mr. Kinane received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the College of Architecture, Design and Construction at Auburn University in 1999, where he now serves on the School of Architecture’s Advisory Council. Bill is a registered Architect in the States of Illinois and Texas.
