Raymond Port of Entry

Located in the rural plains of Montana, the Raymond Port of Entry accommodates the needs, requirements and performance of security measures by USDA, US Customs and Immigration departments of the United States. The program for this border station focuses on the utilitarian functions associated with large volumes of commercial trucks as inspected garages, inspection docks, a firing range, and a new main port building, all on an existing narrow site. Located far from any populated town, the building stands as a monumental canopy framework that emphasizes the importance of passage and the functions of the port building, which are located within.
